MUNICIPAL INVESTMENT INCENTIVES
QUALIFICATIONS OF EXISTING ENTERPRISES
- That the existing enterprises whose place of operation or production is already within the territorial jurisdiction of the Municipality of Guiguinto:
- Must have complied with all the requirements mandated by the existing local and national law: (must have business permit and registered to BIR, SSS, PHIC, HDME).
- That the business falls under in any of the activities mentioned in Section 15 hereof enin the investment Priority Areas.
- Expand its existing production facilities such as construction of new buildings installation of new machineries and equipment of improvement thereof which
Will result in an increase in production; Must have an additional investment of not less that Php. 50,000,000.00
EXEMPTION
This ordinance (Municipal Ordinance No. 275 Series ot 4018) shall not apply to financing or banking transactions and other enterprises which are governed lay the central Banking Act and under the supervision of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)
INCENTIVES
Under Municipal Ordinance No. 275 Series of 2018, all registered enterprises with a capitalization of not less than Php 100,000,000,00 and an existing enterprise with an additional capitalization of Php. 100,000,000.00 and above shall be granted the following incentives;
- Full exemption from payments of Mayor’s permit, business permit; building, sanitary, electrical, occupancy and locational clearance for one
- 2 Exemption for payment of Business Tax for a period of one (1) year; and an additional incentive for the following MSME’s
Micro – P3 Million and below
Small: Above P1 Million to P15 Million
Medium – Above P15 Million to less than P100 Million.
Other incentives for;
Labor Force – 70% of employees are from Guiguinto for new and existing business with 10 or more employees) -5% discount on business tax only
Business with PWD employees, Solo Parent, Senior Citizens (at least), 10% emplovees are either PWD ,Solo Parent or Senior Citzens with 10 or more employees) -5% discount on business tax only.
Incentives granted to existing enterprises shall apply only of additional capitalization and shall not apply to previous investment. In no case however, shall rights to incentives be transferred from legal grantee to another and shall be enjoyed on one occasion only.
